The virus caused many recruitment agencies to innovate – and that includes looking for recruitment tender opportunities. Tendering can be a huge part of a stabilisation and recovery plan for small businesses, with public sector organisations being financially stable, and obliged to pay within 30-days thanks to the Prompt Payment Code.

Homes England – Graduate Recruitment Scheme 2022

recruitment tender opportunitiesHomes England have just launched a market testing exercise prior to a tender for their 2022 Graduate Recruitment Scheme.They will be looking to recruit a total of 15 graduates who will start in September 2022, joining a two-year program.Documents are available from the Pro-contract portal, by searching  for the reference DN561238. Responses are due by the 8th of September 2021.

Selwood Housing and Alliance Homes – Temporary and Permanent Recruitment Services

These social housing providers located in South-West England are looking for a recruitment agency who can help them fill both permanent and temporary roles.

The contract will start on the 1st of December this year and run for four years. Closing date for submissions is the 15th September. Documents can be found on Selwood Housing’s tender portal.

Crown Commercial Services – Recruitment Advertising

The CCS are putting together a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to act as a ‘Communications Marketplace’ which includes recruitment advertising. With a DPS there is no guarantee of work, successful applicants become ‘pre-approved suppliers’ who can then either be awarded work or invited to tender for them in competition with other suppliers on the DPS.

There is no looming deadline with a DPS, it will run until December 2025 and you can apply to join it at any time. Full documents can be downloaded from the CCS website.

Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew – Executive Search Services

RBG Kew needs support in recruiting executives for their Commercial Innovation Unit. They’re looking for an agency with Executive Search experience who can work with them over a year to deliver these services with a contract value of £20,000.

The deadline for applications is the 24th of August 2021, with a start date of 1st of October this year. Finding Recruitment Tender Opportunities

These are just a small sample of the opportunities that are currently available for recruitment services companies, and new tenders are released every day. All tenders are listed on one of two UK government portals where they can be accessed for free; no need to pay for a premium tender search service. Simply visit the government’s Contracts Finder portal for contracts over £10k and below £118, or Find a Tender portal for higher-value contracts.
